The BGD 535 Automatic Cross Hatch Tester is an automated cross-cut instrument designed by our company according to the latest ISO 2409 and ASTM 3359 standards.
As an important method to evaluate the adhesion degree between coating and substrate, the cross-cut method has been widely used. Although the traditional manual cross-cut method is simple and convenient, the operator's cutting speed and coating cutting force cannot be accurately controlled, leading to differing test results among different testers. The latest ISO 2409-2019 standard clearly defines that in order to obtain uniform and consistent cutting, an automatic cross-hatch adhesion tester with motor drive shall be used as far as possible.

Automatic clamping of test samples, making the process simple and convenient
After completing a certain cutting direction, the working platform automatically and accurately rotates 90° to ensure that the cutting lines are completely crossed vertically, thus avoiding any inaccuracies caused by manual rotation
Optional test tips (Φ 0.5mm, Φ 0.75mm, Φ 1mm) or other special tips for testing scratch resistance, scratch hardness, and writing effects, in accordance with Opel (GME 60280 / GMW14688), among others.
