Solvica offers two types of Pencil Hardness Testers: the BGD 505 with adjustable loading weights and the BGD 506 with fixed loading weights

BGD 505 Adjustable Pencil Hardness Tester
The BGD 505 is an adjustable pencil hardness tester that complies with ASTM D 3363 and ISO 15184. This device allows you to select the pencil tip force between 500g, 750g, and 1000g by choosing different loading weights. The tester uses three contact points (two rollers and the pencil tip) and always operates at a 45° angle. Ideal for flexible use on a variety of materials

BGD 506 Pencil Hardness Tester
The BGD 506 series consists of fixed pencil hardness testers with different weights: 500g, 750g, and 1000g (depending on the model). These testers are suitable for standard hardness testing according to well-known standards. Different versions are available, including a stainless steel model for extra durability
