Wet Film Comb Thickness Gauges
Our Wet Film Thickness Gauges are precision tools, featuring a comb-shaped design with accurately cut gaps. These gauges are used to determine wet coating thickness by placing them vertically onto a freshly coated substrate. They are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and include a hole at the top corner for attaching a string (not supplied) for convenient hanging.
All Wet Film Thickness Gauges are manufactured using high-precision CNC machining, ensuring a deviation of less than 3 microns. Each gauge typically offers 10 or more gaps, with the thickness clearly engraved next to each gap. It is recommended to replace the gauge if any chips, cracks, or irregularities are present on one or more of the gaps.
