Automatic Cross Hatch Tester

Our BGD 535 Automatic Cross Hatch Tester is an automatic cross-cut instrument designed by our company according to the latest ISO 2409 and ASTM 3359 standards. As an important method to evaluate the adhesion degree between the coating and substrate, the cross-cut method has been widely used. Although the traditional manual cross-cut method is simple and convenient, the test results may vary due to the operator's cutting speed and the force applied during coating cutting, leading to differences among testers. The latest ISO 2409-2019 standard clearly defines that, to achieve uniform and consistent cutting, an automatic cross hatch adhesion tester with motor drive should be used whenever possible.
